Vista by Chroma-Q Updates Vista 3
New features include Action Grids, which allow real-time modification of stage looks without the need to pre-program multiple variations.
Vista by Chroma-Q’s Vista 3 Release 5, the latest update to its professional lighting and media-control software, introduces enhancements and new features designed to expand creative control, improve integration and streamline production workflows across live entertainment and installed environments.
Open Sound Control support enables full remote control of Vista’s physical console; this allows users to develop custom control applications and unlock powerful integration opportunities across a wide range of industry sectors. Also, Vista now supports CSV file import for cue structure, notes and timecode data from third-party tools such as CuePoints and Reaper. The enhanced Learn Timing feature allows programmers to capture timing directly from external playbacks or cue lists, making it possible to record time-coded shows as naturally as operating live.
The Time Masters component introduces effect-master style control for timing parameters throughout the application. Users can create customizable, hands-on controls and assign them to both physical hardware and on-screen elements for fast, precise timing adjustments.
Action Grids, the flagship addition in Release 5, provide a customizable workspace for programming and playback. With drag-and-drop organization and intelligent auto-population, they allow real-time modification of stage looks without the need to pre-program multiple variations.
