Trilogy Studios Opens Virtual-Production Facility in Dallas
The studio features three stages and Brompton Technology and Absen solutions.
Trilogy Studios and Optic8 have partnered on a virtual-production facility in Dallas that is powered by Brompton Technology’s Tessera SX40 LED processors and Absen’s LED screens.
The facility comprises three production stages: a main volume designed for film and TV productions, a car-process stage, and a small stage tailored for commercials and music videos.
The 157'x23' main stage is equipped with 3,633 square feet of Absen PR2.5 panels for the backdrop, 3,260 square feet of PR5.2 for the ceiling, and 344 square feet of PR2.5 for the side walls. The car-process stage features 1,640 square feet of Absen PR1.9 for the backdrop and 484 square feet of PR2.5 overhead, and the small stage utilizes 807 square feet of PR1.9 for the backdrop and 581 square feet of PR2.5 for the ceiling.
Trilogy Studios is also partnering with Optic8 on virtual-production facilities in Nashville and Atlanta. Optic8 is a Seattle-based technology integrator specializing in immersive experiences, virtual-production systems and LED volumes.
