Venus Adds 2 Mounts for Laowa 8-15mm Zoom Fisheye
The lens is now available in GFX and XCD mounts.
Venus Optics has introduced GFX and XCD mount options for its Laowa 8–15mm f/2.8 full-frame zoom fisheye lens. Although the image doesn’t fully cover the larger sensor area, photographers can crop to achieve their desired composition.
The Laowa 8–15mm zoom fisheye is a full-frame lens offering both a 180-degree circular fisheye and a diagonal fisheye effect. It has been available in Sony E, Nikon Z, L mount and Canon RF since its introduction. When paired with medium-format systems like Fujifilm GFX or Hasselblad XCD, the lens produces a bold, circular fisheye image at 8mm and a broader, diagonal fisheye effect at 15mm.
