Venus Announces Laowa Proteus
The 2x anamorphic-lens series is available in 35mm, 45mm, 60mm and 85mm focal lengths with a universal T2 aperture.
Venus Optics has announced the Laowa Proteus 2x anamorphic-lens series.
Available in 35mm, 45mm, 60mm and 85mm focal lengths with a universal T2 aperture, the Proteus can create sharp close-ups at 1.8' and features smooth, elliptical bokeh and signature flares (including blue, amber and silver options).
The lenses list for $4,999 each, with a two-lens set available for $9,499. Eligible customers can join the #ProteusOnSet program to obtain a $1,200 rebate per set.
