Viltrox Introduces 2 Lenses
The AF 50mm F1.4 Pro FE and the AF 85mm F2.0 EVO FE are now available.
Viltrox has introduced the AF 50mm F1.4 Pro FE lens and the AF 85mm F2.0 EVO FE lens.
The 50mm offers fast autofocus, comprehensive control buttons and a weather-sealed body. The F1.4 aperture enables the creation of a layered image through a shallow depth of field. The optical design features 15 elements in 11 groups. The UA (ultra-precision aspherical) element subdues onion-ring bokeh. Three ED (extra-low dispersion) elements correct axial chromatic aberration and prevent color fringing.
The Viltrox AF 50mm F1.4 Pro FE lists for $549.
The 85mm launches Viltrox’s EVO lineup. The lens is engineered with 10 elements in eight groups and achieves edge-to-edge clarity even when used wide open at F2.0. Resolution peaks between F4 and F5.6. Weighing 12 ounces, this is Viltrox’s smallest and lightest full-frame 85mm lens.
