Viltrox Releases DC-A1 Monitor
The 7" touchscreen monitor displays in 4K resolution at 60Hz and supports three power sources.
Viltrox has unveiled the 7" DC-A1 Camera Monitor, featuring a 1920×1080 FHD touchscreen.
Weighing 12.3 ounces, the monitor displays in 4K resolution at 60Hz. The 2,800-nit wide-angle display ensures clear visuals in any situation. A detachable sun hood facilitates outdoor shooting.
Functions include 3D LUT, gyroscope, focus peaking, false color and anamorphic de-squeeze. A custom LUT import facilitates color consistency from on-set monitoring to postproduction. Customizable preset buttons enable users to access key monitoring features with a single touch. Intuitive pinch-to-zoom allows for detailed inspection of every corner of the frame.
The DC-A1 supports three power sources: the included NP-F550 lithium battery, DC In (direct current) and USB-C. A quiet cooling fan automatically adjusts speed according to the temperature of the monitor.
The Viltrox DC-A1 lists for $278 and comes with a hard carrying case, a tilt-and-swivel mount, an NF-F550 battery, a sun hood, a screen protector, an HDMI cable, a mini HDMI cable and a USB-C cable.
