The company has added a new boutique postproduction facility and a second HDR suite in Soho.

X2X Creative (formally Shed and now part of the X2X Media Group) has expanded its international operations with a new Soho London postproduction facility and a second HDR suite. The new facility is directly across the street from the current X2X location in Soho.

The expanded X2X Creative offers two HDR grading suites, two Baselight seats, a Grade1 Sony HX310 Mastering Panel and a Barco 4K-P Projector, all driving its in-house screening room and presentation space. Dark fiber-optical connectivity between the two facilities, combined with a 100GB network infrastructure and an MTI Cortex mastering System, allow for mastering of DCPs, IMFs and AS-11 files.

This flexibility is also key to maintaining communication and collaboration with local and global productions, as well as with Pix and Codex, the other brands within the global X2X Media Group.

“This industry is all about collaboration, and now clients have greater and easier access to the full range of our creative and technical resources," says X2X Creative Director of Sales Justin Lanchbury, whose career credits include Ex-Machina, Brooklyn, ’71, Victor Frankenstein, No Time to Die and Moon. “Demand for content is exploding, and projects have more complex production requirements. We’re continually strengthening our capabilities and services to handle anything our clients need.”

The X2X Creative team has provided dailies and DI services to a diverse list of productions over the last decade, including Gravity, World War Z, Zero Dark Thirty, Breathe, Maleficent 2, MowgliSpider-Man: HomecomingGunpowder Milkshake and No One Gets Out Alive.

“We have always excelled at streamlining workflows from camera through to final delivery," says X2X Creative Executive Producer Kim Honeyman. “Being boutique means we can offer clients a unique one-to-one experience with our highly qualified team but still work within every budget.”

X2X Creative is extending its creative talent pool by collaborating with senior online editor/VFX artist Jaime Leonard, whose projects include White Lines, Peaky Blinders, Humans and Killing Eve. X2X Creative senior colorists Vanessa Taylor and Dan Moran have worked with some of the industry’s most highly respected filmmakers, including BSC cinematographers Michael Seresin, Henry Braham and David Tattersall and directors Anton Corbijn and Yorgos Lanthimos.
