Okada to Screen HDRI Test for SMPTE Oct. 20
Daryn Okada, ASC and director Howard Lukk will present their HDRI test film Emma for the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers on Oct. 20 at the El Capitan Theatre, 6838 Hollywood Blvd., at 2 p.m.
The screening is part of SMPTE's daylong Hollywood Symposium, titled “Making Do with More.”
Events will also include a panel featuring filmmakers and colorists, a presentation on immersive sound, and a peek at the next-generation consumer experience.
