
From June 10-11, the ASC will host "Visual Artistry in the Age of AI," a summit that will explore the ways in which artificial-intelligence technology will be part of a new path forward for creatives working across the arts and entertainment industry. The event will be livestreamed from the Society's Clubhouse from 1:30-5pm pst on June 10 and 9:30am-5pm pst on June 11.
The summit will include:
— Presentations of current AI technology by prominent developers in the field.
— Panel discussions on topics such as the ethical use of AI, using AI within the traditional workflows and the future of content creation.
— Real-time demonstrations showing the skills necessary to create targeted artistic results with the technology.
— An area where attendees can get hands-on experience with various AI programs as an introduction to the technology.
Among the guest speakers and presenters scheduled to attend are ASC members Patrick Cady, Caleb Deschanel, Shelly Johnson, Sevdije Kastrati Dill, Roberto Schaefer and Dante Spinotti, as well as a wide range of AI content creators and filmmakers with intimate knowledge of this burgeoning space.
