Mandy Walker, ASC, ACS, is hosting the ASC Instagram. She takes over from Chris Chomyn, ASC, who has been sharing photos with followers since early October.

Born and raised in Australia, Walker fell in love with movies at an early age, and she started working on sets as a production runner at age 18. She soon moved into the camera department, where she spent seven years working her way up the ranks. She shot her first feature, Return Home, when she was 25.

Her early credits in Australia also include the films Australian Rules, Love Serenade (a Camera d’Or Award winner at Cannes) and Lantana. Her first U.S. feature was the independent drama Shattered Glass, and her credits since then have included the films Australia, Red Riding Hood and Tracks.
