Venus Optics Launches Laowa Proteus Flex

Venus Optics has released the Laowa Proteus Flex anamorphic 2x lens series, an economical version of the Proteus series with an interchangeable-flare feature. Each Proteus Flex comes in four flare modules: amber, silver, blue and clear. The new clear flare is a lens coating that produces minimal horizontal flare. With the flexibility and versatility to change the flare color, Proteus Flex effectively turns a set of Proteus anamorphic lenses into four different sets. The flare modules can be easily installed, swapped and screw-locked into the main Proteus Flex body; no optical calibration is required after the swap.
