“By combining Aerial Mob and Vortex Aerial under the same company umbrella while keeping each individual company and brand intact, we will be now able to offer our clients more of the same exceptional drone-cinematography services, even more competitive pricing for those services and an ability to share substantial resources between the two companies,” says Tony Carmean, Cinema Partner Holdings’ CEO and executive producer.
“This allows us to continue to grow our presence in markets outside our base in Los Angeles,” he continues. “We intend to scale our company to new heights that will have considerable benefits to all our clients and stakeholders in the film industry.”
Aerial Mob and Vortex Aerial’s relationship began nearly six years ago, when the two companies were selected to collaborate with the Motion Picture Association of America to develop the initial regulations and safety standards for closed-set film production using drone technology. Those regulations were approved and announced by the Federal Aviation Administration in 2014.
