Canon USA has announced the RF100mm F2.8 L Macro, the RF400mm F2.8 L and the RF600mm F4 L lenses.

Engineered for full-frame EOS R-series cameras, the RF100mm ($1,399, pictured above) is a medium-telephoto macro lens that delivers close-up imagery at up to 1.4x magnification with autofocus. Featuring a fixed 100mm focal length, an f/2.8 maximum aperture, precise AF capability and a spherical-aberration Control Ring, the RF100mm elevates portraits and macro shots with the option of creating a soft-focus look. With built-in optical image stabilization and Canon’s Hybrid IS system, close-up shooting and video are sharp and stable.

Inheriting the optics of the EF 400mm model, the RF400mm ($11,999) is ideal for sports, wildlife and more. The optical image-stabilization system offers up to 5.5 stops of shake correction and three IS operation modes. Super Spectra and Air Sphere coatings help minimize ghosting and flare. The RF400mm is compatible with both the RF 1.4x and 2x extenders.

The RF600mm ($12,999) offers the image quality of a Canon L series super-telephoto lens. It provides up to 5.5 stops of shake correction and features a customizable, electronic manual-focus ring on the lens barrel. Additionally, its f/4 aperture and nine-blade circular aperture help create intimacy in background and foreground bokeh for both photos and videos.

All three lenses are available for preorder and will ship in late July.
