IDX Releases B-Mount to B-Mount Hot-Swap Plate
The solution powers the Arri Alexa 35 camera at 28.8V (22-33.6V), and when the B-Mount battery is removed, the output regulates 28V to the camera for hot swapping.
IDX System Technologies has released the A-HS30B B-Mount to B-Mount Hot-Swap Plate.
The solution powers the Arri Alexa 35 camera at 28.8V (22-33.6V), and when the B-Mount battery is removed, the output regulates 28V to the camera for hot swapping. 32Wh/3Ah battery cells inside and a 200-watt constant high load ensures two minutes for hot-swapping, with an LCD screen that displays 120 countdown seconds when changing the battery. When the user swaps out the depleted battery with one that is fully charged, it then recharges the hot-swap plate and resets the countdown to 120.
