New May 2021 Edition of AC Arrives

Our May issue of American Cinematographer is now available to our digital subscribers and the print edition is in the mail.

This edition offers a special focus on commercial cinematography, as well as a feature story on Society member Charlotte Bruus Christensen’s “rethinking” of Black Narcissus.

Presented as well are the first installment of our new virtual-production department, career insights from ASC members, a piece on the future of film, and a Romanian filmmaking duo’s documentary collaboration. Here’s a look at this month’s slate:
