Godox Releases KnowLED MG6K — Brighter Than 6KW HMI
Godox is proud to announce the KnowLED MG6K —a new generation of ultra-high power LED designed to redefine professional lighting performance. This innovative product is set to elevate professional lighting performance in the film industry.
The MG6K surpasses a 6kW HMl in brightness with 4,300W power in a lightweight 24.5 kg/54 lb light head without yoke (28 kg/61 lb with yoke). It features a CCT range up to 10,000K with ±100 percent G/M adjustment.
Paired with Godox's comprehensive accessory ecosystem, the MG6K provides penetrating light, crisp shadows, and parallel beams. Built-in CRMX, IP54 weather protection, flicker-free performance, ultra-fine 0.1 percent dimming, and efficient heat dissipation further elevate the professional lighting experience.
Brighter Than 6K HMI
The MG6K delivers brightness surpassing that of a 6kW light while consuming only 4,300W of power. When paired with the MGR30 reflector, it provides 41,000 Lux at 5,600K and 5 meters, and 132,000 Lux when used with the MGR15 reflector.
Its efficient design, combined with an advanced air-cooling system, enhances heat dissipation by 75 percent, ensuring stable temperature regulation during prolonged high-load operation.
By optimizing both light source efficiency and structural design, the MG6K achieves exceptional
performance and high output conversion.
Powerful But Lightweight

The MG6K’s lightweight design makes it easier to use. The total gross weight of the light is about
41kg, with the controller weighing 13kg and the head weighing just 28kg (61lb) with the yoke.
The lighter weight allows for one-person operation during lifting and installation, greatly
improving the efficiency of location changes, transportation, and lighting setups.
CCT Up to 10,000K

The MG6K features a wide adjustable CCT range from 2800K to 10,000K, offering flexible control
over mood and style to expand creative possibilities.
Wide±G/M Adjustment

The MG6K boasts a wide -100 percent to +100 percent G/M adjustment range, endowing it with powerful and rapid light-matching capabilities. In complex shooting environments, it can be seamlessly mixed with HMI lights or other lighting equipment to accommodate diverse scene lighting requirements.
Furthermore, the MG6K supports 0.1 percent precision dimming with smooth transitions, delivering
users unprecedentedly precise and refine light-shadow control.
Comprehensive G-Mount Accessory Ecosystem

The MG6K is fully compatible with Godox's G-mount accessory ecosystem, enabling unique
optical effects. Paired with accessories such as the MGR15/30 reflector, Beamlight MAX90/60,
motorized three-light bracket, lantern soft box, Fresnel lens, and more, it offers diverse
light-shaping options.
With the MGR15 reflector, it can greatly improve the optical efficiency, reduce light loss and bring
super light penetration. The illumination reaches 6K Par light narrow angle illumination, suitable
for long-distance lighting scenes.

With the MGR30 reflector, it provides users with a more uniform light effect, with clear shadows
that realistically simulate natural light effects. This balances high brightness output with excellent
light and shadow performance.
When used in combination with the BeamLight Max 60/90, the MG6K produces an ultra-precise
5-degree narrow-angle cinematic parallel beam, delivering outstanding optical performance for
premium film production applications.

Paired with a 7' extra-large lantern soft box, it offers a versatile, cost-effective solution for
large-area moonlight-style lighting, enabling quick repositioning.
The ZB03 motorized three-light bracket also makes it easier to operate multiple lights. It can used
to remotely adjust the angle of diffusion, and at the same time, it is compatible with MG2400
series, which can be composed of three-light arrays.
Multiple Control Method

The MG6K supports multiple professional lighting control methods, including DMX, CRMX,
KnowLED APP, as well as basic Ethernet, Bluetooth, and control-box operation. These diverse
control options cater to various on-set parameter adjustment needs, fulfilling the design
philosophy of delivering more convenient and stable dimming performance.
