Venus Introduces Laowa “Zero-Distortion” Shift Cine Lenses
The 15mm and 20mm lenses are designed with interchangeable mounts, including EF, RF, E, Z and L.
Venus Optics has introduced two Laowa Zero-D Shift Cine lenses: 15mm (T4.8) and 20mm (T4.1).
Both lenses offer a ±11mm shift capability for full-frame sensors (±9mm for VistaVision sensors), enabling filmmakers to correct converging lines and maintain distortion-free architecture and interiors. The image circle is designed to be Ø65.2 mm to accommodate the shift function.

The close-focusing distance is about 8" for the 15mm and 10" for the 20mm. Both lenses are designed with interchangeable mounts, including EF, RF, E, Z and L. The focus, aperture and shift rings are equipped with 0.8 mod gears, ensuring easy integration with follow-focus systems.
The Laowa 15mm T4.8 and 20mm T4.1 Zero-D Shift Cine lenses list for $1,999 each and can be ordered now.
