Venus Releases Laowa 16-30mm Ranger Compact Zoom
The lens comes with an Arri PL mount and an interchangeable EF bayonet. Additional mirrorless mounts are available separately.
Venus Optics has introduced the Laowa 16-30mm T2.9 Ranger Compact Cine Zoom.
Weighing 28 ounces and measuring 4.2", the lens covers wide and ultra-wide focal lengths and offers excellent color rendition, controlled focus breathing and low distortion.
Ranger lenses are available in Standard (black) and Lite (space-gray) versions. The Lite features a magnesium-alloy design.
The lens comes with an Arri PL mount and includes an interchangeable EF bayonet. Additional mirrorless mounts (Canon RF, Sony E, Nikon Z, L) can be purchased separately for $100 each.
The Laowa 16-30mm Ranger Compact Cine Zoom lists for $2,999 (Standard) and $3,499 (Lite).
