Cinematographer Rachel Morrison, ASC will be the featured guest and speaker at the ASC Clubhouse on Tuesday, December 19, from 1:30-4:00pm, during a Coffee & Conversation discussion focusing on her work in the period drama Mudbounddirected by Dee Rees:

Based on Hillary Jordan's debut novel, Mudbound contrasts two families — the McCallans and the Jacksons — grappling with poverty on a cotton farm in the 1940s. As they struggle to produce a crop, racial and economic undercurrents surface, threatening both families in different ways.

A complete production story on Mudbound appears in the December 2017 issue of American Cinematographer magazine and a supplemental interview with Morrison appears here.
