Attend One-Day NYC ASC Master Class on Sept. 28

A unique one-day ASC education event will be staged in New York City at Bronx Community College on Sept. 28, 2024. This is an in-person ASC Master Class designed for cinematographers with an intermediate to advanced skill set, and a unique opportunity for attendees to hone their craft and initiate valuable industry connections while receiving instruction on the latest gear, techniques and current workflow practices.
The session, sponsored by Sony and in cooperation with the ASC, will offer valuable insights — not only for the creative and technical aspects of cinematography but also for developing your persona as a cinematographer.
The confirmed instructors are Declan Quinn, ASC (Hamilton, Leaving Las Vegas, One True Thing) and Martin Ahlgren, ASC (3 Body Problem, House of Cards, The Plot Against America).
Each cinematographer will stage a lighting demonstration with a full crew to illustrate their respective creative approach, leading into further discussion and analysis with attendees.
Lunch will be provided and there will be plenty of opportunities to mix with participating ASC members.
