Venus Optics Adds Mounts for 2 Laowa Lenses
The Laowa 11mm f/4.5 is now available in a Canon RF mount, and the Laowa 65mm f/2.8 is now available in a Nikon Z mount.
Venus Optics has created a Canon RF mount for the Laowa 11mm f/4.5 FF lens and a Nikon Z mount for the Laowa 65mm f/2.8 2x Ultra-Macro APO lens.
The Laowa 11mm is a compact, rectilinear, wide-angle lens for full-frame mirrorless cameras. Measuring 2.5" long and weighing 8.9 ounces, it offers a 126-degree angle of view with 7.5" minimum focus distance. With this new release, the Laowa 11mm is now available in Leica M, Sony FE, Nikon Z and Canon RF and L mounts. It lists for $799 (Leica M) and $699 (all other mounts).
The Laowa 65mm is optimized for mirrorless cameras with APS-C format. Weighing 11.8 ounces, it inherits the APO design from the Laowa 100mm f/2.8 2x macro, suppressing chromatic aberrations in both in-focus and out-of-focus areas. With this new release, the Laowa 65mm is now available in Canon EF-M, Fuji X, Sony E and Nikon Z mounts. It lists for $399.
