Mullen, Sprenger Among Emmy Winners
Both ASC members win for a third time for their respective shows.
The initial 75th annual Emmy Awards were presented during the two-night Creative Arts Emmys on Jan. 6 and 7, which were stages at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. (The final categories will be presented on January 15.)
In order to be eligible for this year’s awards, programs had to have aired between June 1, 2022, and May 31, 2023.
The winners in the cinematography categories were:

This was Mullen’s fifth nomination for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and his third Emmy win for the comedic period drama series. Christian Sprenger had two previous wins for Atlanta — this marking his third nomination and win.
Kingston was a student in the ASC Master Class student in 2018 and an ASC mentee in 2019. She was also an AC Rising Star of Cinematography in 2023.
An edited presentation of the Creative Arts ceremonies will air on Saturday, January 13, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FXX.
