Meet Team Deakins at ASC’s Cine Gear LA Booth
Roger and James Deakins will be there Saturday, June 8.
Roger Deakins, ASC, BSC and James Deakins will be at the ASC booth (#656) at Cine Gear Expo 2024, where he will sign copies of his photographic book Byways.
The signing will take place on Saturday, June 8, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. PST.
AC has covered Deakins’ work extensively, including feature stories on Fargo, The Shawshank Redemption, Kundun, Prisoners, Skyfall, Blade Runner 2049, 1917 and Empire of Light.
He was honored with the ASC Lifetime Achievement Award in 2011.
This year’s Cine Gear Expo (June 7-9) will be held at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, Calif.; registration is required to enter, and is free through 11:59 p.m. PST on May 28.
