Viltrox Introduces 2 Lenses

Viltrox has introduced the AF 50mm F1.4 Pro FE lens and the AF 85mm F2.0 EVO FE lens. The 50mm offers fast autofocus, comprehensive control buttons and a weather-sealed body. The F1.4 aperture enables the creation of a layered image through a shallow depth of field. The optical design features 15 elements in 11 groups. The UA (ultra-precision aspherical) element subdues onion-ring bokeh. Three ED (extra-low dispersion) elements correct axial chromatic aberration and prevent color fringing. The Viltrox AF 50mm F1.4 Pro FE lists for $549. The 85mm launches Viltrox’s EVO lineup. The lens is engineered with 10 elements in eight groups and achieves edge-to-edge clarity even when used wide open at F2.0. Resolution peaks between F4 and F5.6....more
